Charlotte Hall Veterans Home selects PulseDirect for marketing overhaul
New designs attracting more veterans to the Maryland assisted living facility

Elizabethtown, PA – How do you make one of America's best veterans homes even more inviting to the men and women who have served our country?

That's the unique challenge that Charlotte Hall Veterans Home has posed to PulseDirect since selecting the agency for all its marketing design needs.

The solution? A revamped brochure, redesigned newsletter, and an overhaul of everything in between – right down to facility's application materials.

For the past four years, PulseDirect has taken Chartlotte Hall's reputation for excellence and helped translate it onto paper. The PA-based direct marketing agency has refreshed several of the facility's marketing materials, producing a new look that resonates with veterans.

"The marketing materials for any assisted living facility provide a first glimpse of the quality of service that can be expected inside," said Chris Flohr, president of PulseDirect. "Redesigning the marketing for Charlotte Hall, we've created a warm, welcoming look that assures veterans and their families of the care, courtesy and professionalism they'll receive."

PulseDirect first partnered with Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in 2004 providing professional printing services to the Maryland-based healthcare facility. Since then, Charlotte Hall has continued to come back to Pulse for more projects and marketing ideas.

"PulseDirect has brought a more professional and uniform look to the marketing materials for Charlotte Hall Veterans Home," said Laura Vucci, marketing director for Charlotte Hall. "Their team has made our every request come to life beautifully. We've gone to them with very general ideas and they've been able to create a look that fits our needs to a tee!"

Operated by the State of Maryland under the Department of Veterans Affairs, Charlotte Hall has 504 beds on 126 acres in St. Mary's County. The facility provides assisted living and skilled nursing to Maryland Veterans who are unable to take care of themselves due to age or disability.

"Making the step toward assisted living can often be a difficult decision for veterans and their families," said Derek Neff, marketing consultant for PulseDirect. "Even the slightest design elements can make veterans feel more at ease about the process, and we’re happy to provide that expertise to Charlotte Hall."

Veterans have already been responding well to the redesigned materials, as interest in Charlotte Hall programs has been on the rise.

"PulseDirect's patience, guidance and professionalism has enabled Charlotte Hall Veterans Home to attract more veterans to the home because of the attractiveness of the materials," said Vucci. "Many new marketing projects are in the works at Charlotte Hall and we will absolutely be asking PulseDirect for their services!"
